Alice Andersen has been designing books since 2008, a natural progression from her prior experience designing CDs for computer-based tutorials. Her experience includes projects from start to finish, including cover design, photo editing, copy editing, copyright issues, and communicating with printers. Her self-publishing experience is extensive. Since 1991, she and John Stewart Socha have been self-publishing tutorials for digital cameras and computer beginners, in CD and audiobook format. These how-to guides have received praise in the Associated Press, Entrepreneur, Wired, and the New York Times. Socha and Andersen have recently self-published yet another tutorial, How to Use the Digital Camera You Just Bought!, a book version of their successful computer-based CD tutorial by the same name. How to Use the Digital Camera You Just Bought! is a 252 page paperback with illustrations, based on Socha's digital camera classes at Western Technical College in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He also answers digital camera questions on the Wisconsin Public Radio Network, where he is a frequent guest. For more information about the book, see the links on the left. "Alice Andersen is a very talented print editor, layout and design professional. As an author, I have collaborated with her on four books and have greatly appreciated her editing skills, keen artistic eye, attention to detail and timely work. The four books are part of a series, and I look forward to our continuing collaboration." Christopher Ruff Novo Millennio Press www.novomill.com Click here to see the books for Novo Millennio Press. "I found working with Alice a real pleasure. Her editing of my manuscript vastly improved the final product. I will not hesitate to use her excellent editing skills in the future."
